2021 Malbec ~ Shayna Vista Vineyards

Shayna Vista Vineyards, just east of the historic town of Sonoma, takes an "Old World Style" approach to vineyard cultivation. They believe that the care they give their vines today will ensure the vineyard's health and high-quality grapes for years to come. In the glass, decadent aromas of dark chocolate blackberry cordial open up, followed by toasted marshmallow, crème brûlée , sweet tobacco, and a touch of dried Herbs de Provance. Velvety soft tannins on the palate lead to notes of mocha, ripe blackberry, spice cookies, with touches of blueberry, cedar, and vanilla. Complex and approachable now, our 2021 Malbec will age and gain in complexity over the coming 5 to 10 years.
