Our 2017 Sauvignon Blanc comes from a small family owned vineyard, Bad Rat Ranch, located in the remote red hills south of Clear Lake. Hand harvested on September 5th,
the grapes were whole cluster pressed directly to tank where a long, cool fermentation ensued. The wine was then moved to neutral barrels where it remained until bottling.
150 cases produced.

Tasting Notes

Opens with aromatic notes of green apple, candied lemon peel, tangerine blossom, and orchid flowers. Bright palate unfolds with green pineapple, lemon and lime zest, with hints of fresh tangerine, lemongrass, and guava. Tasting excellent now, the 2017 Sauvignon Blanc will age nicely over the next 2 to 5 years.
