The 2014 BDX is named for a classic Bordeaux blend, and this red blend from the Sonoma County AVA lives up to the name and then some. A seamless, classic Hans Fahden red blend of 66% Estate Cabernet with 34% Malbec. Bottled 109 cases.

Tasting Notes

This beautiful wine in the Bordeaux style opens with aromas of spiced plum, blackberry jam, cedar, Kirsch, with hints of cardomom, black pepper, and piespice. The palate follows with velvety smooth tannins with hints of molasses, sage, caramel, and vanilla. Approachable now, this wine will easily age for 5 to 10 years.
