2019 Malbec ~ Shayna Vista Vineyards

Shayna Vista Vineyards, located directly East of the Historic town of Sonoma, cultivates their vineyards in a self-described ‘Old World Style’ with a keen understanding that the meticulous attention given to their vines currently will impact the health of the vineyard and quality of the grapes for years to come. Our winemaker is so impressed with this commitment to future generations that we purchase the entirety of this extraordinary Malbec crop so that we can elaborate the wines with the same ethos. Our wine expresses  an intensely aromatic varietal character of just picked, perfectly ripe blueberry and black raspberry, cacao and roasted espresso, and fragrant lavender. This stands shoulder to shoulder with our favorite Malbecs from Mendoza, Argentina.
