2019 BDX Red Blend ~ Fountaingrove District

The fruit was sourced entirely from Sonoma’s acclaimed Fountaingrove AVA, similar in elevation and volcanic soil to the bordering Napa Valley's Spring and Diamond Mountain growing regions. Fountaingrove’s western exposure to cooling influence from the Sonoma Coast yields fruit with a refined tannin structure and acidity reminiscent of our favorite French Cabernet based blends, while illustrating the concentrated and layered black currant, plum, and boysenberry character for which our mountain vineyards are well known.  Complex and approachable now, our 2019 BDX will age and gain complexity over the next 8 to 15 years.
